About the author: Originally from Boston, MA, Sam migrated to San Francisco, CA in 1997 and began performing there in 2001 at open mics, jams and sit-ins. He was an original member of Sam Flot Quintet formed in 2002 and Gazelles formed circa 2008 in San Francisco, CA. After a seven year creative adventure in Washington State, he and his wife Jocelyn Suzanne have returned to California bringing along with them renewed inspiration to create even more artwork, music and poetry.
